SUBLIMELY SMALL Immersive installation at the Gabriola Arts and Heritage Museum, September 2023.
An immersive video installation that makes large the tiny, microscopic lifeforms mostly invisible to the naked eye. Beneath the surface of the sea, tiny pea crabs, limpets, rock gobies and mollusks fight for food and territory. This dazzling array of colourful life forms, vegetation and animal, gracing the gallery walls, shows us the day-to-day struggles for survival just under the surface of the intertidal ocean.
